Brett D. Heuer

Lives & works in St. Louis, MO

Since I was a child, growing up in the golden age of animation in the 90s, I knew early on that drawing cartoons and comics was what I wanted to do with my life. During my years at the University of Missouri - St. Louis, I worked as a volunteer comic strip artist for the student newspaper, The Current. My art has been heavily influenced by the brilliant work of artists, including Charles M. Jones and Don Bluth. Today, I continue to enhance my skill-set and artwork in the hopes of working as a character designer, animator and comic artist. In 2020, I started my own short story webcomic, Divsion of Animals, which can be found on WEBTOON.

I'm currently open for freelance work!
